THE BRIEF
Zola ads featuring same-sex couples were defaced. How could the brand react in a way that literally spread more love around the world?
Insight: Couples are expressing their love digitally more than they are physically. And yet, study showed that 92% of couples would be ecstatic to receive a real love letter from their partner.
Our Idea: Zola spreads love the old fashioned way by showing up before and during Pride in San Francisco with a post office booth where calligraphers write you personalized love letters to the people who are important to you.
RESULT:
Over a thousand letters were sent to 300 different countries. Zola asked if people were comfy asking people to use their letters as OOH. people said yes, and they were used as OOH along the pride route in addition to write-ups from AdWeek, LittleBlackBook, and more.
